Where does your inspiration come from for your songs?

KATY PERRY:

Well, lots of different things. Mostly just like moments in my life. For me, it’s really easy for me to write about heartache, really easy. I don’t know why. I think that’s how I get through it is writing about the heartache that I’m having about a relationship, or a boy, or you know, someone I was in love with or hurt by or whatever.
